Looks like an X Ray of a Mini Clubman!

That is a bizarre story, the steel panels were cut out to produce watches. Looks very Second hand now! Sure it's not a WIND UP? (see what I did there?)

I'll get me Dunlop jacket. :?

Imagine the disappointment of buying a Mk1 only to find out it was actually made from a Clubman.

I am affraid my BS detector has gone right off the scale with guy (links 1+2),apart from having no idea what he's selling, one is most deffinately an early'ish 'Microcell' 'Mini' subframe(note the very rare wider tube across the base), the other is from Mk1/2 Cortina, his whole 'speil' is a 'Total Fabrication'. As I previously mentioned in an earlier post on p.311 ,he bought all these items as part of a package 2 - 3weeks ago (see links3 + 4) from 'Christianbigbear' .He obviously uses another Ebay account to cover his tracks with purchases. How on earth he came that valuation of the seat runners is beyond belief.(£40 tops elsewhere on Ebay).

Surely the sliding seat runners are the same as used in MG Midget/Austin Healey Sprite aren't they?

Well if the car can be identified as a "Banksy" artwork (via his "Pest Control" http://www.pestcontroloffice.com/AuthForm_Originals.asp)

This mini could well be a very expensive one (remember the door with "mobile lovers" that raised 400K??)!!
