Pageant Of Power 2010

Can those that haven't already done so please contact me regarding the MCR display at the Pageant Of Power on July 17th/18th and let me know the preferred day they wish to attend, the reason being that POP have cut down on free tickets this year to ten cars per day, weekend tickets are now only an option if you buy the extra ticket (a discount does apply though).

Fraid not at this stage, we just don't have sufficient tix to go round as the organisers have cut back unfortunately. For those wanting to attend both days an extra ticket will have to be purchased, using a discount code (available from me) , @ £15 from the above website.

After wangling a few more tix out of the organisers I'm going to be posting them all out tomorrow. Some attendees from here include Mark, Slowboy, Smoke Grey,Acespeed,Fricsman,Bryn,OEW and hopefully Mini GP .

Quick update, some tickets have been posted and some haven't yet as I've not recieved them all ! The organisers are driving me bananas, Barrie Williams only got invited this morning on a phone message (nothing like planning ahead eh ?) and it looks like he's not going to be allowed to drive a Mini (if anything at all) though Andy Acespeed has offered his car ! And Gordon Spice has been ignored completely despite my offer to bring him along , though he is still coming along anyway hopefully. Sometimes I do wonder why I feckin bother.

Andy they've just sent me an approval for you and Barrie to run your racer , six months late the dozy tw*ts !! I'll PM you, we need to speak pronto ! Also Gordon will be offically invited and will run in the parade in the Britax replica. Phew.

All I need now is the missing tickets, please bear with me folks .

I doubt I'd even get a feckin bacon roll out of em ! Alec Poole's coming and Rhodesy's been invited too, hopefully they'll make some use of him this time !

We've got the gazeebo to keep dry don't worry ! (didn't work for me last year though !) Actually the forecast isn't bad for the weekend.

All tickets have been posted so unless I hear any different I'll see you all at weekend (or in some cases Friday). Don't forget those concert tickets ! (not sure we'll be able to sneak in this year ! )

Just in case you are not aware and might add a bit of spice to the spectating Whizzo and me have a needle match as i beat him at the Palace event and he reckons he will beat me at the weekend so watch this space

And its amazing how well my car revs when Whizzo drives it

They already had tickets!! That said cpop are sponsoring the local radio breakfast show all week plus advertising on Heart FM and in local papers.....
