Due to a change in plans I'm not going to be able to get to Shelsley now. :(

Oh well maybe next year.

I think we better make that Saturday mate, Sunday's forecast is now for rain, and lots of it.

I'll be there tomorrow anyway.

It was a good doo Dave wasn't it? And the weather was cock on! 8-)

Thanks to mine host Mick (grey 1071) for a great barby and cool beers Saturday night, 'Aurora' Marc for all the chat on Saturday, Paul and Goff for their equally good company and bringing their cars along. We got loads of interest in the cars from some very knowedgable punters who had some great first hand stories about what went on when they were new! Had some great chats about Unipower GTs, a couple of people who'd owned one, one guy who was happy to sit in the drivers seat for the first time since Piers Forester sold him one in '68 after taking around Middlesex first at break neck speed in his GT40 to soften him up  . Also met an old pal of Forester himself and an ex Downton engineer who knew quite abit about Janspeed aswell and remembered the car. Brill event, Derek Bell's live chat was also really interesting, I'll be back next year!

Some of my pics from my crappy camera...
