Early clutch master differences

Post by abri »

Between a friend and I we have two early clutch masters that we thought were both the very early type for the 59 mini. However when we compared them some differences were apparent. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Note the difference on the screw top section

The feet are also different (as are the feet of the master cylinders ;) )

The one with the flat screw top and non-indented foot had this strange type of pipe connection. This makes me think it might belong to something other than a mini. If so, what?
