1071 cooper s rebuild

Thought I would start a new link to show the next project we are starting at old Skool minis, this one is a 1071 cooper s in for a full shell rebuild and repaint which will be smoke gray with old English roof.

We were having a chat with the owner of the cooper s today and he informed us it is a 1071 with a speedwell convention !!
we got the floor and boot All built up today ready to fit in the shell tomorrow .

The floor panels were from m machine the best panels on the market
A bit more progress on the shell floors are in and the rear panel is all lined up ready to spot weld in .

Brilliant work so far, I am about to embark on similar with my mk2 cooper shortly so am finding this very helpful, you haven't any better pictures of how much bracing is needed on shell to enable the whole floor to be removed have you as this is area I am hesitant to begin.
