Rear toe alignment. What is needed?

I have excessive toe in at the left rear. Is it possible that my radius arm is at all bent or is it more likely that something else is out. Maybe subframe, radius arm bearings? What is the standard procedure to remedy this? Adjustable mounts, shims, new radius arm? Obviously it depends on what is actually wrong but I'd like to know what i should expect and if there are any known issues with 40 year old minis. I'd like to tackle this problem whilst the hydro is down. Thanks.

If just adjusting toe, I'd use shims.

Ok, are there special shims that i need to buy? Does this need to be done whilst the hyrdo is down or can it be done with it pumped up? Thanks,

Toe in is good... it means you can use shims to correct.

You can make your own (must admit I've not seen any for sale).

You won't need to deflate the hydro.

Buy 1x then copy your own from strips of tin. Sorry Guru but once fitted you can't see them anyway!

Or just buy the ones you need from mini spares - in support of the fact they can actually be arsed making them for people and have a business to run which we have all used and been thankfull that they have had something made that we needed....just my support for a business thats all..

I bought a couple. They are cheap and appear to be very well made. They are fairly thin though. Might make one just for the sake of having a thicker shim. Cheers,
