Perhaps Duncan Ballantyne should get an Imp.

Good entry from Mini's but a poor turn out overall? Good to see some new names on the list.

According to the met office it might just be raining by the time the saloons get underway in the afternoon tomorrow, with a dry quali in the morning and ten Minis that could make for a great race in the wet! :)

Bit late for this weekend, but anyone who wants to get matey with the Dragon might like this. Looking at the estimate and what has been spent it will probably a bargain

Good craic today, got sunburnt again  (and it wasn't very sunny!). Nice to meet up with so many forum members, including three out on track! Missed YMJ, you car looked and went very well though (what happened in the race??), Timo Harber got slightly 'Roger'd' . All good fun!

Yep..good day and also good to put faces to names off the forum.

It was also good to have a chat with Will Dicks, 72 years old and still giving it the Beans in his 40 year old owned mini. Nice guy.

Loved Will's 'Poglespeed' story. He had a bit of a lonely race though sadly, not as lonely as Theo's though!

I don't think Theo had a lonely race, he probably got to wave at everyone more than once during proceedings ;)

Gearstick fell off on lap 4 just as I was planning how to get past Jon. His clutch started to slip halfway, so I'd have caught him anyway apparently...... dammit :x

Surf....sorry for the "cloak and dagger" subterfuge before the race but I'm not very good at talking to total strangers just before races. My heart rate is beating at 40% over normal as soon as I get up on race days and continues like this until the race is over. Thank you for your good wishes for the race, they were appreciated.

And met Tim Harber for the first time - what a lovely bloke!

Tim

I wondered what happened! Shame about the gear stick.

I have a few shots at the Craner Curves during practice.
