hmmm
recently recommissioned with many new parts
&
Ronald Anthony 1982-2013 (off the road for about 30 years)
Jonathan Allen 2013-2015 (current owner since 31/08/2013)
I don't think it takes a genius too spot who & when it was 'extensively' recommissioned........

The front of an Ogle always reminds me of the Allegro...

The Ogle was advertised for sale in March for £10,000 and didn't sell, so wouldn't have thought it would get any offers near £13,000? Is the box section frame in the boot original or is it just holding everything together?

Looks very authentic - most of the correct bits there. One thing I noticed is that the engine number font is different to my car. Mine was built only slightly earlier so is it possible the font changed??

Strange thing is the scrivets (and original plate) have been milled off. I'm guessing this was stamped after the head was decked in a previous life.

All Aussie cars had to have the vin & engine numbers positively stamped into imovable metal, so this is "normal" for antipodean Minis.

Yes, I think this may have something to do with our convict heritage
