Wanted - Genuine brake light switch (mechanical)

Post by jayare »

As title, I'm looking for a genuine brake light switch which fits on the pedal box, part number 13H3735 as I've had two of the currently available ones fall apart when trying to remove the cables, pinging the internal spring to who knows where. As with a lot of the current parts, they are shockingly bad quality! Prefer NOS but a good used one will be fine. Can pick up at Bingley Hall next weekend.

Thanks,

JR

my solution was add Super Glue onto the new switch along with a small cable tie and hope it all stays together .. yes they are crap.

It's an option if I can find the tiny spring I guess - I just wish new parts weren't so rubbish!

Try a Volvo 240 switch, they fit and work.
