Post by Andrew1967 »

Looking for a Mk1 heater casing side, the one that the hose fits onto.

Someone has cut the flange off this one ?!

Hi Andrew,
I found two LH sides....there must be a couple of RH's somewhere...will have a dig around tomorrow. Yours for the postage.
Now, these may help you....but I think it is 4 inch diameter!...worth a look.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256246858296 ... R7zboO_rYg

I've got an old front intake which would be the right size, should be easy to weld on.

Sorry Andrew, no luck in finding a RH side....strange that I have two LH's and no Rh's.

Andrew is that panel the same on a lot of the later heater units up to the early ‘80’s?
I maybe wrong, so apologies if that’s the case.

On early heaters that flange is part of the side of the heater hopusing itself, on the later ones it's a plastic housing which is popriveted in. The change point was somewhere in 65

Hi Andrew,

I presume you got sorted with your heater outlet.

I've just found this in my collection if you need it. Off a Mk3.
