There are two types in case you didn't know, dry and wet versions as it were. Hence the date for the car required will make a difference ;-)

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. My car is 1966 with hydrolastic suspension.
Does anyone know the correct reference for the book.

Almost 3 years back I did a little research on handbooks, asked Q's here. Suggest some of your (unasked)) questions may be answered there. Search 'owners handbooks?' from may 20.

I have an Austin one from 1966 - code on the back is AKD3890D.

Very nice condition for age. £30 inc postage.

That was an interesting bit of research there Winabbey - in a nerdy sort of way..... Maybe someone with a bent for deciphering this sort of thing could indeed research the user handbook issue and come up with a definitive answer to what code, when!

The Mk2 whiute and green handbooks might be a tad easier - but not much!

I have a brand new pretty-much unopened Mk3 S handbook (ENGLISH) here dated 1/71 AKD 7364 (2nd edition run of 1,012 copies). Maybe there's scope for the start of another thread to update Winabbey's original. Are you game Winabbey?
