cibie biode headlamps

Looking for that elusive part, shout about it here.

Those take the side light on them, like the normal Lucas lamps?

Thanks but sadly no, and I know they'll be difficult to find.

We only have one left following a crash many, many years ago, and the lower dish is a very distinctive part of the period appearance. Worth a try in case there is another one or two out there ;-)

These are Cibie Biode, quite expensive nowdays!

I have quite a few Cibie lamps with the sidelight, but not the BIODE type, will they do?

It's the biode look I'm after Andy - may well have to settle for something that looks similar, or original lights. If it comes to a high price then so be it, it was just what the car had during that period and I'd love to recreate it ;-)

They are sort after for works Escorts also £££ Andy I believe Wpac also did a twin reflector HL unit they were only really necessary if you were maintaining your dipped beam with your main beam (both bulbs) using a relay especially with extra high wattage bulbs.
