1100 Half Engine For rebuild

Post by mk1 »

Looking for a decent 1100 Pre A+ short engine suitable for a rebuild. I currently have a 2 & a 1/2 cylinder Moke & would like to build a new engine for it that use all 4 :)

Thanks,

M

I have one, it was running in my pickup but it was a bit smokey should be OK for a rebuild. I would take £100 for it. Only challenge is it is in North Devon!

Thanks for the offers folks. Am hoping to find something a bit closer to home. N Yorks / Northern England or close to Southam.

I may know of a complete 1975 Allegro 1100 engine and box.

Manchester area.

Any use?

Yes, probably if it's the right sort of money.

Thanks Costa.

I've just spoken to him.

It's the original engine from his 1975 Allegro and he wants it to go with the car.

Hey ho.

There was a 63-64 Morris 1100 that had been sat in a field near M1 J30 since the 1970's but I think it's finally gone. I'll have a think though.
