I genuinely have no idea. This was an original Gold Seal box that lay on a shelf ,never used, for 45 years !
I have stripped down the box, cleaned off the solidified grease and rebuilt it with new seals and gaskets. Most of the parts inside the box are new or in new condition. Parts like original bulking rings, brass caged double bearing and reverse idler gear are as rare as hens teeth.
Open to offers if its allowed.

Not sure of the price, then it's auction material if you ask me. Obviously on this site, we'd like a LOT more info on the gears diff and drive shaft coupling type

Thanks for the advice Peter.
The box is an original 3 syncro remote, 22A1288 for the 850/998cc engine. It has a 22G231 laygear and 3.76 diff/ final drive. The box is fitted with rubber coupling diff yokes.
After speaking with other MkI enthusiasts I believe a realistic price (collection only) is £750.
