Many years later BMW now owners of both Rolls Royce and MINI combined the two marques again but officially! :lol:

It's not a Brian Luff front. That was different from this one. I bet this is a private effort.

Call me an anorak.
I only have some sketchy B&W pics of a RR front by Luff, but it's clearly different.
He supposedly built quite a few before Crewe stopped him, but I have never seen a survivor.

I think one was featured in an Classic and Sportscar magazine feature a couple of years ago.

One is shown on P148 of Peter Filby's 'Amazing Mini', in which you can clearly see Luff's Status badge (Car reg. 979 DJJ) apparently about 30 sold in '71 acording to the caption

Golding's Mini 30 book, Page 177 has a slightly different photo of the same car, but suggests approx 80 sales.

I doubt 80 buyers (even 30 is a bit optimistic!), but you never know

there was some pretty hard core drugs around in the early 1970s..... :lol:
