Interesting website below with a collection of most 'Practical Motorist' magazine covers from the very first weekly issue 12th May 1934 priced at 3d and the monthly issues from May 1954 priced at 1 shilling, through to the last issue believed to be sometime in 1997.

I've still got one of those TIRFOR winches in regular use. I think that they still make them.

That black speedo Mini Van - with a side window conversion - wouldn't have been very old. 1964/5? Someone went to the trouble of adding over riders and I'm not sure Vans ever had those.... :?:
