My favourite car sticker

Post by AndyPen »

Maybe a new thread on here? This one at the NEC this weekend really raised a smile. Nice car too.

;-)

Best one I saw resembled the Dogs Trust black and yellow sticker, but read 'a dog is for life, not just Friday nights'.

Incidentally, what was that Clubman colour.....?

The mythical six legged beast of Turin on my FIAT 500, it gets some funny looks occasionally...

"You can be sure of Shell" .. if only the same was true today.
Even back in 2019 ..Life seemed to be less complicated

Favorite from back when has to be the "STP" Sticker & the Esso "Tigers Tail " & why do we no longer see the "DISCS " sticker on a mk1 Cooper S Bootlid

To explain to our younger viewers .. in the 60,s it was trendy when you got your second hand car that had Disc Brakes ,to put on your Bootlid an oval sticker that displayed the word "DISCS" reasoning the following car driver could expect you to "stop quick"as disc brakes were the next modern thing to have on a family car .. just a shame my 997 Cooper Disc Brakes were not the best so i fitted twin leading shoe :o
