Rosemary Smith RIP

Another legend has passed away today . Rosemary Smith was 86 years old and had a lifetime of Motorsport especially Rallying behind her . Famous for her exploits in a Hillman imp and other cars including Morris 1800 'landcrab' on the London to Sydney rally 1968 and the London to Mexico in 1970 . also held the Irish land speed record in a racing Jaguar XJC , ( I was lucky to be there to witness that event and will never forget the sound on the still early morning in 1978 near Cork ) At the age of 79 in 2017 Rosemary became the oldest person to drive a F1 car at Paul Richard circuit using a F1 Renault .
