Must have a hoist to keep that clean and clear of debris. At least the connection side is still sealed.

Imagine if the fella driving it is 20 to 25 stone , pointless , just go on a diet . Saying that I was into drag racing a number of years ago and I would and did similar…. Shirley

Just so you all know...I have no idea as to who the owner is/was....but it was worth a laff!
Maybe it was off a really rusted out (lightweight) 1100🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

As a matter of interest Dermot, I sent the picture to a friend who teaches mech engineering students. He's now using it as an almost perfect illustrated example of 'diminishing returns'......, that we've all run up against in general engineering. A great pictorial example of how the search for one thing - lightness, can weaken the inherent strength.

A great discussion/feed-back subject on a Friday afternoon
