I have on a 1128 gearbox case it has this number 5232 stamped.. can anyone tell me the significance of this number ?
this gear box is fully built up complete with the engine on-top so i cannot look inside the case .

Seen this before on a gold seal gearbox. Looks like a hint of gold seal paint around the edges.
