My old Mum used to say that if I didn't have anything nice to say, I shouldn't say anything. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

For the second time this week, sadly, I find myself agreeing with Mark. £24.000 for a model pedal car - and a replica at that........ Words fail me

Definitely NOT eligible for the Settrington Cup, and I look forward to turning away anyone who presents one for inspection.

The wheels are not an accidental nod to a Mini hubcap.
Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

And for those who know me. Even I'm too big to get in one now. My first car was a Triang pedal car which I autotested in the dark in and out of the rooms off our hall in my family bungalow when I got it as a Christmas present. Sad I know but even sadder is that my Dad fitted electric lights so that I could pretend to be a rally driver in the dark. Nothing changes.

Read somewhere the Austin J40 ( not sure in what year ) was about £25 when new & was sold in the BMC Car Dealers also Harrods.
I do not knock Burlin for their efforts ..an engineering task to improve the original J40 & why not ?.. given we do it all the time with our Mini,s & still ensure that we keep car to the BMC original date coded perfection
