Do us a favour and put your spell checker on.

When I read the above reply to the initial post and had a response typed I stood back and reflected about possible motives for such a petty and to put it bluntly 'stupid' response to a few 'typos' or misspellings . this type of self centred and caustic input is fortunately not common here at MK1 Forum . Frank please take no notice of this type of 'smart-arsed' vitriol which I hope was born from ignorance not malice . I think it is very brave of you to share details of your illness with the forum members and I hope being on here helps you to fight a good fight , please continue to post from your experiences and memories and I know I can speak for many members posting here who don't give a sh**e about spelling or typos . best of luck and keep fighting .G
As a moderator on a Mini forum in Oz I occasionally use my privileged editing rights to tweak a post where it's clear a major mistake or mistype has occurred. However I only do this where I've had to read the initial post a few of times in order to make sense of it, and only to avoid everyone else having to go through the same process. Otherwise I find our varying grammar and typing skills are really like our verbal accents - different, sometimes amusing, and occasionally absolutely incomprehensible.
Keep up the interesting contributions Frank. And prove to those who gave your dreadful diagnosis that they were wrong, wrong, wrong.
Going back the the original post. It looks like a almond green 998 cooper with a short Webasto, probably in the late 70s or early 80s not in the summer judging by the boots being worn in the background. Keep posting Frank Contessa would be good forgot all about her. Peter

For more recent Mk1 Forum members or those that missed the original project thread (11 pages), here is a link to the full story and photos of Frank's (The Count) skillful restoration of a very rare surviving Oyler Contessa.
And this thread below is when it was first discovered by Frank and appeared on the Mk1 Forum back in 2015. 1978 Coach-built Clubman Contessa:- http://mk1-forum.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14209
