I briefly saw Ivan at KOP, he does get about! Going to be interesting to see what he does with that ‘59 though I’m not totally sold on the wheels! Either way he’s having fun with it!

Re: SHED RACING - 59 Mini nostalgia
Maybe he could also bring the 2-cylinder A-Series along for a demo and do a talk about it, like he did at Bicester Heritage (see his 'Mini Mania' video above)...plus a SHED RACING video of Blyton.

Such a character isn't he! I didn't see him at Kop because I was only there on the Sunday but he was present at the Oxford Classic Car Show a couple of weeks before, with his other Mini
That car was a lucky find wasn't it! Brilliant condition

Ivan’s a hooligan! Enjoyed his donut antics at the end of the film too.

His Lotus 7 with a Coventry climax engine looks to go like a stabbed rat. Got to love him

Re: SHED RACING - 59 Mini nostalgia
One of the best things about driving an A30 is that you get to appreciate what an amazing advance Issigonis' Mini was. There was only 8 years between the launch of the A30 and the Mini - and an entire generation of sophistication.

Re: SHED RACING - 59 Mini nostalgia
Very true, even for an A35, its a long way away from being a rear wheel drive mini

Getting them to handle is a challenge…….in its self.

They do turn over quite regularly. That looks a total blast to drive though, Ivan really is living the life isn’t he. Really enjoy his videos.
