How do I make a hard white glue/filler?

Post by Bitsilly »

I know and I'm sorry, this has little to do with Minis but you are a knowledgeable lot!
I have a victorian tiled hallway and most of the broken/cracked/previously drilled tiles are white or off-white.
Does anyone know of a white or off-white paste or putty that i could fill the cracks and damage with that will harden and stick well?
It doesn't have to be a perfect match as anything will be an improvement.
I was thinking along the lines of builders resin or milliput, neither of which I have used before!
Thanks in advance, (and Sorry Mark, deleted if you need to!).

I’ll have a look, cheers.
Not shiny is good!

Just thought that if it sands well it wouldn’t be up to being walked on.

Tiling adhesive like this may work https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... UTF8&psc=1

This is brilliant white, but will dull down or you can add a colour to tint it, its a matt finish.

When dry you can sand it.

My instant thought when I read this was Milliput. Superb stuff. I have used it for 1,000,000 and one jobs for years. It is available in white as well as the usual, grotty green / grey.

Why don't you see if you can replace them with new ones , i layed a victorian floor using old and new tiles , this company still makes them ,

" Originalstyle " Victorian geometrick floor tiles. based in Exeter

Go on there Webb site and take a look .
