Where to advertise a car for sale
As per the title really, where do you sell a car? I’ve got an ad here and on racecarsdirect. Anyone used Car and Classic, etc?

Yes, classified on car and classic.
3 emails and a phone call within an hour. Obviously didn't ask enough lol

I have had most success with car & classic. Easy & cheap.
Only snag is that things seem to be very slow at the moment. Only very competitively stuff is moving.

Yep that car was cheap! Car & Classic does work very well under normal circumstances but currently you’re more likely to be badgered by buyers who dont show up or don't really have the money. Very tough market at the moment since interest rates went up.wantafaster1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 9:27 pm Yes, classified on car and classic.

I’ll pop your car up on my FB page again Tim, always worth a go.

Thanks Pete. I’ve dropped the price significantly since I first put it up for sale in March and I’ve only had 1 phone call, who never turned up.Pete wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 9:50 amYep that car was cheap! If it’s still with you in Jan - Feb I’ll be very interested…however onto your question.
I recently sold via Collecting Cars and can’t speak highly enough of them, like you mine had been in the usual places for sale and nothing really..up on CC and lots of genuine interest and a sale at a price I was happy with.

Good Result on the sale!
The idea of advertising on Facebook fills me with dread though
