Not a Mini, but What?

Post by peasantslife »

Doing a tidy up in the fibre shop yard, we came across a pair of these. No one can recall what on earth they are for, or how long we have had them... years and years! Any clues?

I've also taken away - for an ebay posting some MGB valances including a rally car valance with built in lamp pods, A butched up MGA front valance, some TR pieces, A Frogeye door, some Spirit/Spur/Turbo valances.
We used to make Smith and Deakins Grp2 arches and many other parts for that firm before the business wound up last year.

Rallycar valence...mmmm...just what our GT needs!

('needs' might not be the correct word...)

I should say, anyone wanting any of this stuff its going cheap cheap cheap. (or +20% on ebay)

The wing is obviously off quite a small car, the flat top flare is quite distinctive, but I'm damned if I can place it...yes rally car or extreme body mod....

Trevor, TR6...gone this morning, sorry. I have plenty of contacts in Chassis Triumphs. I have what may be a TR tunnel cover, for the handbrake?

Here is the presumed MGB Rally Valance

And the butched up MGA valance.

Also parts of an elise rear clam! had the lamps panels removed...
Frogeye RH door
MGB Rear valance Chrome
and MGB rear valance rubber
MGB Roadster boot lid skin
Spit IV/1550 spoiler
Spirit/Spur spoilers

Appreciate this is starting to look like a for sale list, so Mark, do please move to the right place. And I dont want to fall foul of rule 5 so lets say £20 per piece or just make me an offer!

But I genuinely would like to know what the front wings are for?

Quattro, Unfortunately I think not. The Audi has quite a long wing, and referencing what I have the shape to indicator is raked back, and also notice the mirror sail appears to cut into the wing...

Incidentally I have a brand new boxed tail lamp for the quattro...

Ah well, I think we are stumped. Say hello if you are coming to Beaulieu in Sept. We have a stall in Red - You will know the stall, I'll have this on show!
