Re: dealer stickers 60's
My new Dec 69 S from Stewart and Arden didn't have a screen sticker but it did have a S&A sticker along the top of the front and rear number plates. A couple of years later when I replaced the black and silver for black and white, I asked them for another set and they duly obliged.

Re: the white morris on red background version, I would be surprised if that’s genuine, as the colours don’t match company colours. Ie. When all the branding had been blue and white, I doubt they would produce red stickers. Happy to be proven wrong!

Has anyone a sticker on their car from H A Hamshaw Ltd Parker Drive Leicester, my MK2 S was bought from there in 69, I wouldn't mind a copy to stick on the rear screen

Re: dealer stickers 60's
My car was sent from Longbridge works to FG Smiths at Goodmayes. Some further investigation revealed that it was then supplied to the first owner by Grange Motors Brentwood. Smiths were a wholesaler as far as I’ve been able to work out. Grange still exist, at the same site but they’ve long been Aston/Jag/Exotic dealers. I did manage to obtain some branding from them showing how they looked in the late sixties. I agree with mark though that screw on plaques were more likely in the early 60’s than vinyl stickers.twc641 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 11:37 am I have to check/ message them as well , my Austin 850 was sent to Smith Goodmayes Limited ,London
Here in the states(New Jersey) in the 50's and the 60"s common place was a metal DLR plate screwed or stuck on the left side of the boot lid /left lower side body.
later printed on a license plate frame more so than on the car itself......
What area and year was your car registered in?
