SPQR mystery gadget
I came across these pics recently and have no idea what that little box with switches is for.
Just extra lights?
Love the ashtray on top!

Re: SPQR mystery gadget
Its an SPQR remote switch panel.
It's in the catalogue.

Only one I have ever seen fitted in in VPR470
I have been after one for years.

Made my own back in the 60's as when fully belted couldn't reach centre switches.

I'm going with purely because where it is now it was in reach, as other have said when belted to any sort of competition seat (period or not) the central switches are harder to reach, I know I run an extended key when competing to be able to re-start the car should I need to.

Rally seat right back and full harness, couldn't reach ign switch or wiper/ lights.
Fitted spots switches and rev. light switch. Mine fitted flat on door bin with an angled raised panel for switches etc.

Motortune dash, SPQR gear change and that seat material looks like the stuff off the Sprinzel seats I’ve had.
