These are all customers engines.

Quite a few belong to forum members :D

Suppose raises the question, are replacement blocks any closer to reality ?

Assume not or its not being promoted.....

Just bog standard, cast-iron casting would do. Certainly no expert, but I would assume that you could not make an identical block in Aluminium, issues with rigidity, strength, warping.....?

So if above is right, for originality, that leaves us with cast iron?

Maybe, in the end though, the reality is, the numbers just dont make financial sense to cast in Iron ?
