Value of a -59 Deluxe rear seat

Post by Mini Mad Swede »

Really hate asking about prices but have no clue this time.
So, have a grey fleck/black rear seat as in both back rest and seat cushion(?) if its called that.
Both parts in good condition without rips or tears.
So the question is if these two parts are incredibly expensive or not if and when they come up for sale?

Thanks in advance to whoever will reply to this no doubt gramatically incorrectly asked question.

Perfectly framed question as always.

The price / value of the seat is quite tricky. They are rare but are certainly NOT as sought after as a Cooper type.

If I was loon=king for one, I'd be expecting to pay around £250 for a nice one, maybe a bit more if I was desperate.

I may be be well off, but this is my gut feeling.

Thanks Mark!
As you wrote, rare doesnt always mean its very sought after or that valuable.
But my bad, its not fleck. Its grey and black.
Black at the top of backrest. Where there is a steel panel under.
Took it outside in daylight and.. erm realised it was my crappy eyesight fooling me.
It sure looks like it covers the wheel wells(if its called that?)
Must learn posting pics asap!

That does sound like an early one. May be worth more to a 59 addict.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who can't see anything in low light conditions :)
