BRM wheel centers

Post by 360gts »

Taken me a few years to find a few of these Alcan/BRM wheel centers.
Was short two......now I have a complete set with a couple of spares.
They were in pretty bad state....my friendly chrome shop did a great job...filled the etched rust holes....couple of coats of copper and then the chrome.
Had some decals made up...was lucky enough to have an original (in the photo).
Now, it's onto restoring the wheels..

They look great 8-) I had a 998 Cooper with those wheels some years ago and never managed to find any replacement centres - or nuts.
they were very attractive - and fairly rare wheels.
Do please post up a picture of them all once fitted to a car.

Those look superb. I'm still after some decals for the ones I have. Any chance you can provide some?

I found the guy who made the decals for me....he can run a batch for me
Anyone needing these...please let me know the quantity. He has a minimum order of 50.

Can do them for 12 pounds per set of 4.

Postage to the UK will be quite reasonable...probably 2 pounds per envelope...regardless of the quality inside.

Thanks to the members who ordered the wheel stickers. I had to order 50 (min. order) have 1 set spare if anyone else needs a set.
Cannot believe the difference in price since I bought some a couple of years ago. Paid 1.50 pounds each back then!! Double the price now.

I'm sure everyone admires you for taking the job on Dermot. The small players are the backbone of small interest groups like us.
