He wouldn't have had that car long as the car was first registered in London during October 1968. Reynolds was arrested whilst living in Torquay on the 8th of November 1968. Also that is not Bruce Reynolds next to the car.

And the car currently has a 1340cc engine fitted and last changed hands in 2015.

"British Leyland ran an ad for their Mini in 1979 with the slogan "Nips in and out like Ronnie Biggs" and placed one of the posters near the flower stall of Buster Edwards in Waterloo. Members of the public complained but the Advertising Standards Authority supposedly only queried whether BL had got Biggs's permission to use his name."

Chris Harris from Top Gear had a Mini as his 1st car and of course raced one at Goodwood in 2019.

Chris Harris had a good line recently on Top Gear saying,

“You’re either a beetle guy or a mini guy and I’ve always been a mini guy”

Never really thought of it before but while I respect the bug I don’t really have any desire to own one.
