"The book with a lot of history and technical information about the South African Minis is back in stock in the UK. Definitely a good read for those who want to know more about the unique Minis in SA."

Received my copy today (ordered Thursday) and as Mk1 says it looks to be an excellent read, a hefty book of excellent quality for the price!

Ordered a copy. Bit pricey with delivery to USA, but looks like it should be a good read.

Re: A South African Mini Story by Ryno Verster
Finally got around to reading this book during my summer holiday week.
100% agree with Mark. Very well worth a read.
First 2/3 is an account of all the comings and going’s related to Mini production and development in South Africa, local variants and specials etc. plus some interesting bits about other related markets e.g. CKD from UK and imports from Australia.
Last 1/3 is full of production records, RAC homologation papers, local price lists etc.
There is some repetition, but the book as a whole is structured well into the different eras and locations of S.A. Mini production between 1959 and 1983.

We are providing this service as enthusiasts like yourselves so we do not make money from it, so please bear in mind that we will do our best to offer a professional service in terms of shipping and delivery etc. but we are just amateurs doing this on the side!
