Certainly not a record for a mk2 . As some of you may know my mk2 cooper sold for £55k in 2015 . Quite proud of that and at this present time I don’t know or have heard of a higher price achieved… Ken

There is what appears to be a super original and possibly low mileage MkII Cooper S on Bring a Trailer right now. It was a personal export to Canada and one thing that is strange is there is an extra “KC” on the engine tag (that is not on the heritage certificate).
