You could buy a passenger pass and ask a few of the drivers if they'll take you out for a spin. Bring a helmet, or I think they have them available to hire, although not sure since covid and all that.

There's also the track parade at lunch for the opportunity to drive your car on the track for a few laps with passengers in the car, no helmet needed.

Have cancelled my morning track pass so Javelin have one available.
Auto Italia Magazine want my car on display at their Italian Day at Brooklands on the Saturday, so will have to travel up to Blyton Sunday morning.

A quick question?
In previous years there was a "Just Giving" link for donations to the MacMillan charity. Is there one this year?
Thanks in advance.

We will be using the same donation page as last year. It's the one that Pete set up in memory of his lovely wife Elizabeth.

I’ve been approached by a media firm I met recently who were doing some filming at Olympia. They’d like to come up and make a little film of the day if that’s ok with everyone. It’ll be a nice little something to remember the day by. They’ll use it on social media and YouTube, I’ve seen their work and it’s really good, they’ll probably interview a few of us I should imagine.

I have just received confirmation that Harvey Death will be attending our Blyton Track Day with his amazing V8 Powered "Fastest Mini In The World". This will be a great chance to see this "Ultimate Super Mini" on track & chat to Harvey about his stunning creation.

FREE ON THE DAY TUNING CHECKS.

Thanks to Andrew of AG Classic Tuning, we are able to offer free on the day tuning checks to anyone attending Blyton.

Andrew says;'

Hi,

I'm Andrew, and I run AG Classic Car Tuning.

Having already tuned quite a few mini's ahead of the 2023 Blyton Park Track day, it's easy to see how much the mini community is looking forward to a great weekend and also track testing their mini's.

Now the important bit……

The 'Macmillan Cancer Support' is a great charity, and the mini community is a pretty good bunch too. So... in support of both I'll be present at Blyton Park over the weekend and offering my 'health check and tuning services' where needed...... FREE OF CHARGE!!.

So if you've got a mini which ran great yesterday, but won't start today....

Or has a gremlin and a strange hesitation when driving...

Or simply your mate set your ignition timing so far advanced that it's possibly into tomorrow....

Come and see me... I'll do my best to help you out.

The next important bit…..

All I'd like to ask in return, is for you to give generously during the weekend by throwing a few quid into the 'Macmillan Cancer Support' collection buckets etc......and then have a great time in your classic minis whilst also supporting a great charity.

Many thanks & best regards,

Andrew

Great news! Andrew did a cracking job on my 1100 Mini last year, very methodical and knowledgeable guy. I've booked him for tomorrow to check over the GTM and give some advice on the hot running issue, looking to take it to Blyton.

All will be given away during the day, First to all track cars / drivers, then the rest on a 1st come, 1st served basis.

I’m sure If there’s any left we could offer them on here after Blyton but doubt there will be!

Hi Ed,

I have replied to your PM. For anyone else wondering.

The gates at Blyton usually open about 7.00 am and things are usually in full swing by about 9.00 am.

I would suggest that anyone who wants a good spot in the thick of the action, aims to arrive about 8.00 am.

Re stickers, if there are any left after Blyton I'll post something on here. But I don't get as many made nowadays as the price has gone up a lot in the last couple of years.

Hi, As far as I know, nothing needs organising. Camping has been free since Ginetta took over.
