Sold for $45k. That’s strong money for a racecar that still needs work before it’s legal to race here in the states.

There is what appears to be a super original and possibly low mileage MkII Cooper S on Bring a Trailer right now. It was a personal export to Canada and one thing that is strange is there is an extra “KC” on the engine tag (that is not on the heritage certificate). Anybody know what that might be??https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969- ... nts-anchor

It looks like the car has optional 1.5” carburetors and someone is speculating that the engine may have had some custom modifications done by the factory that the KC corresponds to. But I have no idea if that makes sense.

I agree with Simon, That looks like it has had a Downton conversion before it was exported. A VERY NICE find indeed!

Is this for real ?, £240k. They are also selling a few other Minis in the £150K price range. A collector getting nervous about future values ?.

Just J.D Classics doing their thing. Ie unique cars priced at the top.

I thought they were now called Woodham Mortimer after the issue of a few years ago, but must have reverted to the old name?

All being offered by the newly resurrected JD Classics.

Now that is one name I really thought we wouldn't see again!

That's what I thought, figured the "JD" name would be seen as bad news.

The Mini collection was looked after by Adrien from My Mini Revolution in Paris. He’s bought and sold a lot of cars over the last few years, a few cars from members on here, they’re huge and fantastical prices at JD now though. The one I find particularly interesting is BGJ 947B which has the late Radford hatch conversion, a well known car but now claimed to have been Peter Sellers’ which is news to many of us! Can’t remember that ever being mentioned before in all the articles it’s ever been in.
