I know it was getting harder to find folks from the 'good old days' who were still able to make the commitment.

Nothing planned Al, I think so many enjoyed their night in the pub last year it lost its appeal! It’s hard to get the calibre of guest that I want nowadays to live up to the guys we’ve had in the past, especially as we clash with Donington Historic Festival again. I’d really like to avoid that next year so I can get Peter Baldwin who I’ve been after for years.

*PADDOCK PARKING*
Just a quick heads up about paddock parking. Due to the sheer numbers of cars entered on track this year it’s very important to park your tow vehicle and trailer on to the grassed area if possible with your track car behind, therefore only taking up one paddock space. Please DO NOT park your track car alongside your trailer otherwise we are not going to fit everyone in. Also DO NOT park any non track cars in the paddock for the same reasons. I will need a couple of extra marshalls for a couple of hours between 7.30 - 9.30 to make sure this happens. We do rely very heavily on our regular marshalls Jan and John every year who are not actually members of the forum so please put your hand up if you can help.

I'll be doing my usual stint / stints. As will Adam. All / any help is always appreciated.

The duties are far from rigorous, but even 1/2 an hour spent helping Jan & John is always much appreciated.

Thanks folks, just seek me out in the morning, I’ll be the fella in a tabard with a dodgy leg. In fact John will also be in a tabard with a dodgy leg so grab either of us and we’ll take it from there. Thanks!

Never having made it to a Blyton yet (and this year will be no different unfortunately)....
Is there likely to be any Minis up for sale there? A friend is looking for something (wanted post going up later) and thought it might be worth popping along to look if there were.

Don't forget those collection buckets for us, well for Jan at least, she is hoping to get plenty of donations on entry again this year from all those lovely people who generously donate. I hope someone has ordered some great weather?
We will see you early Sunday morning
John & Jan :D

Apart from Cliff very generously doing his photography bit I’m sure there’ll be some good snappers at this year’s event but I’ve also asked for the Javelin track photographer to attend to do the sexy action shots of you all on two wheels at the chicane which we’ve missed for a few years and will be able to buy, possibly on the day. We also have a film crew in attendance so I’m your Sunday Best waistcoats, shirts, ties winkle pickers will be out.

Javelin pictures are free you get them all emailed after the day

Worth keeping in mind unlike most circuits it's pass on right at Blyton so you need to move to the left to let others pass..

Absolutely gutted, it looks like I won't be making it down the year :-(

Life and other demands have somewhat got in the way, but these things happen

I'll look forward to the photos and tales of derring-do out on the track.
