The Japanese are appalling for communication.

I have never had a reply to any email or letter in 20 years. They are just not interested.

Nippy cars are great if you want to look at pictures of things you want but it is altogether another matter if you want to buy them. No phone number and no response to emails!

Hi.
I've replied to all the emails I've received, would you like to try direct (nippycars@hotmail.com) or send a message here?? I'll message my number if you want a chat.
Out of interest, have you checked your junk folder??
Youd be surprised how many times I get an order for something and I respond immediately with yes I have stock and delivery costs and then never hear from them again. Maybe it's an issue out of our control,??!!

Emails going into spam or just plain being blocked as they go through the hosting company server seem to be getting more frequent…… Non-domain specific email might contribut ? but no real reasons and not much you can do about it as far as I know.
Really only solution is an online shop, but that isn’t a free lunch, especially for a small business with limited time. However, a shop could keep most of the communication, packing labels in one place , which might help time wise

I've looked into ecommerce but it's just not viable.
Every item needs to be weighed, that's easy, put it in a box and submit the size, that's easy, the problems start when a large light item gets purchased with a small heavy item, if I standardise everything into a onesize box, as soon as you look leaving the country it goes volumetric and Horrendously expensive.
A lot of enquires ask for a shipping cost but don't supply a post or zip code,
A shop would simplify some aspects and maybe even sift out the ones that just like to ask if you have any in stock. 🙄🙄

Hi Nippycars, I would like one of your horn rims (for a 67 mini ) for a speedwell woodrim, I already have the hub. Is it available seperately and if so how much please.

Could I please ring you?

all the best, David

I sympathise, we do a small amount of online selling, it is far more demanding than face to face. I sometimes think it is now too easy to make an online enquiry, rather than make a call as in days gone by, when you had to invest a bit of time and money to enquire ;)

Here, here. Thank Christ that we have these small manufacturers that are willing to put their money into the kitty to help us. And make a profit of course

He hasn't logged in to the forum since the 31st. I'd try email or his website as the primary contact method

Might not be a good idea to put you mobile on here as the whole internet can see it ( anyone can see the “General “ part) unless you want lots of calls from Nigeria, of course ;) . Hes a really nice guy with limited time, I am sure he will be back to you soon.

Maybe it's just you Pooface. The remainder of us seem to be capable of communicating with them......

I have watched this thread since you 1st posted and I must agree with Peter , have you considered its your attitude ? I am sure Fred is very busy and dealing with the day to day issues of running a small business and therefore can't give instant answers to everyone NOW . unfortunately your attitude is typical of a certain demographic who require instant attention , I would say instead of berating Fred's communication and response times just order the products elsewhere , I am also sure Fred won't loose any sleep if you do . otherwise just have a little patience and wait for the best products on the market .
