Car cleaning and prep on Sat, Sunday was the Cumbria Classic and Motorsport show at Dalemain, nice and local. Got sunburnt!! Hardly had time for a look round as time was spent catching up with people I'd not seen in a while, and meeting new acquaintances like Brian the man that made the outspan minis! and yes I had club members who had to google it to see what it looked like! made me feel old..
Wanna see what I'm playing with? Youtube Channel
Caution ;) may contain 8 Ports, Xe's and VTec's, I don't do standard!

I don't think that many poms really appreciate the size of South Australia....., let alone Australia as a whole!
Hey Pete !

I'll get a separate thread going for that when I can get some photos up ;)

I took my 34 year old BMW out for a run.

Yes, that's 316,000 miles.

Not Mini related , I went to Lincoln Steam Rally with my restored 1950s Quasi-Arc welding plant , 400 amps , Fordson Major Diesel engine and it all works how it should ;) .

I did that a while ago as the rubbers are no longer available - looks like a great job ;-)

I was racing at Silverstone Festival. Sharing the grid with Can Am cars, Lola T70s, other prototypes and even a 935! Finished last unfortunately. I was dawdling along a bit at the end and got overtaken by a Lola that I’d overtaken on the 3rd lap which was a bit silly! But did have a great time. One of those things you have to do if only once.

Had marmite on toast and took a Gr Yaris out to try to get it to lose traction in boring mode at a large roundabout, I succeeded!
Actually I didn’t even come close.
Sorry, I’m weak
