Door Kick Plates

Helping a friend clear out his Mini parts collection of over 50 years. Came across a bunch of standard aluminum ones. Most are in poor condition.
At the bottom of the pile were a set of two wrapped in newspaper. Upon unwrapping I immediately realized they were stamped out of stainless steel and not aluminum. Never seen this before so the question is was there an aftermarket company that made this version? I must say the quality is superb on these plates. I believe all factory ones are all aluminum. Hope someone can shed some light on this.

Could be Innocenti or Authi??
I know the Innocenti side window frames are stainless on the later cars...

The kick plates on my 60s Innocenti Mini were s/steel and looked the same as the UK alloy ones.
