What do you think of this grill badge?

I like this but I'm not really sure it would look right on an 850, and regardless I am holding out for a nice Welsh grille badge!
However, I just thought I would see what the consensus is? May be good for a sportier number!

Nothing more!

Cheers

Just another bit of modern "tat" for people to spend their money on in my opinion. No historic interest or authenticity. Spend your money on a proper old badge of the period ;)

That is pretty conclusive!

I didn't think it was that bad apart from the gold, however and I can't believe I am saying this, I hadn't bothered to look at the price

Not sure if that is genuine as I have just sold this badge that has the same outer metal casting with the crowned R. Could be a marriage of parts

I think the crowned R is the logo of an accessory manufacturer (edit - Regal maybe?), but it could still be genuine as no doubt they produced badges for other people/organisations (bit like FRAY that made the BMS badges and also the later AA & RAC badgets that were both the same)
