I used a similar site 2 or 3 years ago for a Ford Focus Mk1 MOT failure and got £150 for it based on weight but I guess scrap prices have increased since then. Car was picked up and paid for quickly and efficiently.

Could be right lol
Though we generally get £150 for scrappers round these parts and possibly £175 if there are alloys on the car

Sold my old CLK to ‘webuyanyscrapcar’ they are part of co-part. Got £600 for it. Not bad for a car with 140k miles and written off in flood water about 18mths earlier.
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.

Use them to get shot of my late Mother's Nissan Micra .. which whe hadn't used for nearly 8 years and was never likely to due to her age.

I think the price is generally based on the weight of the car. For most of the scrappage websites you just enter the car reg number to see the price offered.
