Hello,
Is it still possible to buy a new vertical oil cooler or are they no longer available. If available who supplies them.
Thank you
Tony

Must be one of the rarest parts around. 1071 Bob made copies of the pipes so they may help?

Repro brackets are also available

An original ARA167 cooler itself is very rare though, and upwards of £500 when they come up on eBay etc.
If you were handy with a TIG welder, you might be able to fabricate something based on a generic 11-row horizontal cooler.

Those 7Ent cooler brackets are from me from a few years ago. Very hard to find decent coolers now, most have cracked side plates and/or leaking tanks. Nick Swift has been trying to fabricate a modern replacement for one of his customers but haven't heard from him for a while.
The problem is that the originals had 7 inch union centres and all the modern replacements are 6" 8" 10" union centres which won't fit unless you change the brackets and pipe layout. If you need a cooler you would be better off fitting the later type.
I don't have any brackets or pipe kits left.

Any chance you are going to make any more, I need 3 sets of pipes, and brackets for my oil coolers.
