Being previewed at Bingley Hall yesterday, the soon to be released Yokohama 145/10.
Tread pattern looks a bit like the old Dunlop SP4 and the compound felt quite soft..

I bet Blockley are thrilled
Typical isn't it. No 145 tyres for years then two come along one after another.

I blame Nick entirely...
not as thrilled as Dunlop!!! anyway glad I got my Blockleys, early days but the ride is definitely better than the hideous Falkens

A bit of healthy competition never does any harm, it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Talking of Blockleys, they had a stand at Bingley and were open to a bit of discount. Unfortunately I do not need any tyres at the moment and space in the car was tight, but if they are out and about during the year maybe there will be more chance to buy them. Interestingly the tyres come foil wrapped, so longer than normal storage should not be a problem.

Anyone have any experience of Blockley’s 165 10?
I’m thinking of using them on hillclimbs instead of Yokos.

Steve Entwistle won the rally of the test on them so that would confirm they are a great tyre and only £60 each! I believe they have the same compound as the Dunlop R7’s.

Blockley often offer free fitting too...although I know it’s not convenient for everyone.... 145 & 165 the same price!
Cheers

Might be worth a try, they’re 1/2 the price of Avons

Are we saying that they are a viable alternative to Yoko A032's?
I see they are S rated, can that be used on track, and don't they have to be on the MSA list? Anyway, nice looking tyre all the same!

The Blockleys are on List 1A for 2020 (the 'BR1'), and so are the new Yokos I think (GT Special Y350 ). The Avons and 032s are on List 1B.

As mentioned above we won the RAC on Blockley , they are ideal for mixed surfaces, for Hillclimbing A032s will run rings them. Cheers
