Abandoned house with a barn full of classic cars and more...

Post by mab01uk »

"A pair of urban explorers have recently chanced upon this car graveyard that is filled with hundreds of classic motors that time has forgotten. Matt a YouTuber from Sheffield, and Andy from Doncaster, journeyed to the secretive location in Suffolk...."

(They are no experts at identifying classic cars so you may need to f/fwd at some of the slower parts of the video....)

What the hell do they think they are doing?
They can be under NO illusion that they might be on anything but private property. Is this a national park with right to roam, or have they been invited? Well I don't know.
I'd be absolutely livid to finding them mooching about in my garage, or poking their camera into my house or buildings.
If you don't live in the country you may have never heard of rural crime...but it means we have to barricade every gate, reinforce every fence from unwanted trespass, vandalism and theft, whilst they dump their and othe urban dwellers (perhaps yours) detritus on my land.
It makes my blood boil that I have boundaries yet need to barricade buildings well inside my land.
By all means let these 'urban adventurers' sneak about in their neighbours back gardens and video through their own patio doors! I wonder how long they would survive in their community?

The first time I heard the term 'Urban Explorers' was a few years back when various 'explorers' videos appeared on car forums from inside the abandoned Longbridge factory and tunnels.....

Although there are definitely "legitimate " urban explorers who don't damage or remove anything the unfortunate issue is that it publicises places and methods of entry to the less scrupulous who go on to vandalise and worse. I've seen a few videos where a few months later the premises were torched by vandals who may possibly not have done so if the explorers hadn't posted on YouTube. I find it quite interesting but it's treading a fine line.

Car-wise they are dim-lits. I wish Jonny Smith had done the exploration. With expertise and not all the BS they keep babbling.
If only I knew the power of the Dark Side...I wouldn't have made contact with an Innocenti
