Info on vintage auto tester

Post by LuisM »

Hope this is not too much offtopic for the forum ,

There is an interesting vintage ignition tester for sale nearby , and I would like to get some more info on it , has seller has no clue on what is meant for ,

Looks like some sort of ignition tester ? But spark plug tester ? Points tester ?
Anyone familiar with this ?

Thanks
Luís

The HT lead and the points are for testing ignition coils, there’ll be a motor in the box to spin the points cam. Might do more things too.

Thanks , I’ll probably buy it if price is right , clean up should be a nice “deco” item on my shed .
