Re: 1972 innocenti T 1000
Thanks Marcus,
Lorenzo was extremely helpful with the correct information.
I have found a replacement engine for the Innocenti T which is a mk1 cooper power plant with a 4 synchro box. Engine stripped down and is currently with the acid dippers, once picked up it will be off the Southam Mini centre for the block and head the be skimmed.
Just on the hunt for a 22G1128 4 synchro box which will be an identical engine spec to how it would have been out of the factory.
SPeaking with Lorenzo, the engine will be painted in black, not the MOWOG green as this changed after 1970 and during the MK3 production, the engine is the next to be worked through and would hope to get this sorted over the coming weeks / months.
Thanks for reading.

Re: 1972 innocenti T 1000
Time for an update…
As the head had been sitting on my desk for the last 8months with a couple of valves lapped it was time to clear my desk and get on with the engine!
Here is a few from the build so far, and I know that the gearbox should be black! But Hopefully I have the correct bits so far…
On with the Dynamo and radiator refurb now then hopefully in the car very soon
Thanks for looking

Very tidy work
If only I knew the power of the Dark Side...I wouldn't have made contact with an Innocenti
