Have now spoken to the previous owner, it's an early 61 not a 62 & has masses of history with it too.

It currently has a 1500 Cosworth motor, the original motor is not currently known, but would most likely have been A Series or Ford 105E.

Should arrive next week.

Lotus do an equivalent of a heritage certificate, but I think John Watson has copies of all the build cards. shouldn't be too hard to find original spec (but as it's in top spec now, I doubt you'll be changing it!)

I'm looking forward to seeing this one in the metal.

You are of course correct. Sadly, The Heritage Certificate (equivalent) says "Original Engine" - Not Known.

I have seen a copy of it.

Looks fab.

Have you got any of the old logbooks? The capacity might give you a clue.
