I am actually being swayed, maybe I will have to re asses the situation
Finding a decent A series powered one may be a different kettle of fish though.

Jay Leno manages (just) to squeeze into most cars, this should give all of us of a certain age (and girth) a glimmer of hope
. Although when he drove the replica XKSS recently without the removeable steering wheel he would have had a "slim" chance of getting into it

Mike Brotherwood has an S1 project for sale, and John Watson always knows of what's maybe not advertised, but available.
There's been an S2 (Ford Engined) in the last couple of issues of the HLR magazine, and whilst not cheap (around £20k, so actually, that probably IS cheap nowadays!), less than others currently advertised on line.
And they are no less safe / flattering than a moke
