You know what. Please keep the images & comments coming.

I am actually being swayed, maybe I will have to re asses the situation

Finding a decent A series powered one may be a different kettle of fish though.

Jay Leno manages (just) to squeeze into most cars, this should give all of us of a certain age (and girth) a glimmer of hope :). Although when he drove the replica XKSS recently without the removeable steering wheel he would have had a "slim" chance of getting into it

There's hope for us all then.......... :D . My benchmark test is getting into (and out of) the Elise with the roof on, with the door only half open because it's squeezed in beside the Cooper, without kicking the inside of the door or the sill with your work boots on because you forgot to change them before starting the process. I think Mr. Leno would definitely have to be lubed up for that one !!!!.

Just to remind you or if you haven’t already seen this.

Ivan proves you’re not too old and although it’s got a climax an A series can be made to go very well!

Mike Brotherwood has an S1 project for sale, and John Watson always knows of what's maybe not advertised, but available.

There's been an S2 (Ford Engined) in the last couple of issues of the HLR magazine, and whilst not cheap (around £20k, so actually, that probably IS cheap nowadays!), less than others currently advertised on line.

And they are no less safe / flattering than a moke
