"This half scale Morris 1100 body was made by the early 1960's apprentices in the Pressed Steel training school at Cowley.
It used to be displayed in the Training School and is now at the Gaydon museum.
There was also a full size ADO 15 Mini body shell which went on tour that was drive screwed together under the body seam finishers. You could walk it into a room, put it together and then sit back and watch the puzzled faces looking at a full size Mini and then at the doors and windows in the room.....

I don't think the "coupe" pictured above actually exists though. It is a photoshop job isn't it? I think it is based upon a photo of a well know 1800Ute which is partly customised and is the same colour. It also has the same registration number which is a bit of a giveaway! If you look at the picture - which is very skillfully done - the side windows are not clear and are not echoed on the other side

Hydrolastic suspended cars, with unusual ride height, all of them.
Probably during the settling procedure of the new displacers, being left for a few hours fully pumped up, hard against their bump stops.
